Reopening Strategy

The Brook will offer an 11AM WORSHIP EXPERIENCE ONLY. Thanks for your understanding as we continue to make adjustments which allow for safe and meaningful worship and interaction with one another. Face masks are highly encouraged and social distancing will continue to be exercised. Full service cafe will remain open pre-service for your enjoyment! While we are taking extra precautions to ensure everyone’s safety we want to  emphasize, if you have underlying conditions or concerns about being near a group of people, please stay home and join us via Facebook Live Church at Home. We value your online presence! 

Morning Devo - Pastor Scott - 9:00am

We’re all in this together! We know many of you find yourself with some extra time at home each morning even though it may not be you usual routine. We encourage you to make yourself a cup of coffee (or a second cup for you early risers), grab or turn on your bible and refresh the Waterbrook Facebook page for a MORNING DEVO with Pastor Scott!

Operation Christmas Child

Even amid a global pandemic, we want to collect more shoeboxes than ever before, because now more than ever, children need hope! Shoeboxes will be available @ Guest Services this Sunday and will need to be filled with gifts and returned to The Brook by Sunday, November 22. Giving Tank for October

The good folks at the North Strand Housing Shelter are no strangers to The Brook. That’s why when we found out they’re a little short on a few items, we wanted to let them know we’re here to help! We’re looking for 33 & 13 gal. size trash bags, gallon & quart size Ziploc bags and assorted varieties of general purpose cleaning supplies. Let’s get together and show this great organization how much we appreciate the work they do in community. Please bring your donations with you beginning this weekend and drop them in the Giving Tank at the rear of the auditorium! 

KidzBrook at 11am Service

The Brook is offering an 11AM WORSHIP EXPERIENCE for our kids. Due to limited space, we will continue sign-up registration for KidzBrook (Newborn – 5th grade). As always, YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY. We will take your kids  temperatures before entering any building on our campus. Social distancing is always encouraged. Sanitizer stations readily available. Masks are available for anyone who wishes to wear one. While we are taking extra precautions to ensure your kids safety we want to  emphasize, if they have underlying conditions or concerns about being near other kids, please keep them at home. To register for Kidzbrook click here

Boundaries - A Book Study for Ladies

Join Gayle Benton for this 9-week study beginning Thursday, October 1st in the Café @ 6:30 pm. This is a DVD guided study along with table discussions, relationship building and more!  You will need the Boundaries Participant’s Guide which can be purchased on Amazon or  We recommend everyone get a copy of the Boundaries: Updated and Expanded Edition: When to Say Yes, How to Say No To Take Control of Your Life to read along with participate in the class each week to give deeper insights but not required.

Grils Nite Out

GNO is what we like to call an “On Ramp” opportunity for all women @The Brook. Beginning Monday September 14th, “Girls Night Out” is a great opportunity to meet other women. It’s a place to listen, love and learn from each other. Come and enjoy encouraging faith based movies, discussion, devo and even special guest speaker now and then. If you’re looking to get out, have a little fun and maybe even make a few friends the GNO just might be for you!

Celebrate Recovery

Join the North Strand Celebrate Recovery as they gather every Sunday from          5:00 – 8:00PM here at The Brook. Dinner will be served from 5:00 – 5:45pm. Come and eat and enjoy the fellowship. For more details, please contact Paula @ 843.742.6017

New Waterbrook App for Your Phone

The Brook has it’s own church app for your smart phones. Our church app makes it easy for you to keep up with events, watch sermons and give easily and securely. Simply go to the iPhone App Store or the Android Google Play Store, Download the free Church Center App., Follow the link to Waterbrook and load in your contact info. It’s fast, simple and so convenient!

Parenting Through the Phases - Small Group Study

You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. The Phase Project seeks to provide parents with exactly what they need to make the most of each phase in their kid’s life. This Small Group Study is based on the 18-part Phase Guides series that will help you discover what’s changing about your kid over the next 52 weeks, the six things your kid needs most, and four conversations to have with your kid while they are in each phase. Sessions will be held on Zoom Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm. For more information and to register click here. 

Join our Zoom OnLine Youth Group

Get your kids connected every Wednesday! Using the Zoom video conferencing app your kids can safely get together online and to worship, pray and connect. Our 3rd-5th grade students meet on Wednesday afternoons from 4 – 5 PM. Our Pneuma Youth group for Middle and High School kids Zoom together from 6 – 7:30 PM every Wednesday night. Restorative Yoga

Come restore your body and mind through gentle movements, Christian music and scriptures. The class meets every Tuesdays and Thursday at 6:30pm. This class is designed to stretch and relax the muscles, help calm the mind and draw closer to God. Movements are done on the floor of the church auditorium, so bring your yoga mat. This class is open to men and women. (Childcare is not provided at this time) Please call Mary Lynn Porter 843-450-2414 for more information. Class will be held in the back of the auditorium. Please be on time, doors will be locked once the class starts.


Waterbrook IOU Community Groups are life changing! Every week folks gather for fellowship, Bible study or community service. COMMUNITY GROUPS are small groups comprised of ten to twelve individuals that meet together for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, accountability and community service. We offer Community Groups for people in all walks of life. Sign up in the Welcome Center or call the church office at 843.390.9222


Women's Bible Study

Ladies Bible Study is postponed due to the coronavirus. Join the Ladies Monday evening Bible Study at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall as they dig into various studies, watch and discuss movies and so much more. Our men meet every Tuesday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm evening for Bible study and a great time of fellowship with other men. If you are looking for a great group of guys to spend time with and grow in your faith you will want to join us.
