The SURGE Student Ministry is passionate about seeing our teens (7th – 12th grade) grow in their relationship with Jesus and then making an impact among their peers. We are a place where all teens can come and belong. We meet Sunday nights at 5:30pm at Waterbrook Community Church for a time of games, prayer and study. SURGE also meets at 8:45 am on Sunday for a quick hang out before the 9:00 am service. For more information on SURGE, contact Pastor Randy at 843.907.2977 or email@example.com. Also, check us out on Facebook to stay up to date on our latest happenings.
Have you ever stood on the beach and looked at a wave? As it begins to break and come into shore, there is a SURGE of water, a rush of power and strength.
The definition of SURGE is to 1) move suddenly and powerfully forward or upward. 2) increase suddenly and powerfully, typically during an otherwise stable or quiescent period.
As we continue to grow and see our teens grow in their relationship with Jesus, we are praying that they will become a SURGE throughout our communities, showing the love of Jesus to all they come in contact with.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1
SURGE exists to see our students grow in their relationship with Christ, connect with one another and the community.
Serve – others
Unite – one another
Reach – people for Jesus
Grow – deeper in our love and knowledge
Elevate – ourselves to be more than we are today
